Original or certified copy of Full Birth Certificate (including names of parents) legalised by the FCO with the Apostille. Applicants not born in the UK must have the certificate issued in their country of origin and legalised by the competent authorities with the Apostille or by the Argentine Consulate in that country. This document must be submitted with its translation into Spanish and will be retained for processing by argentine authorities and not given back to the applicant. If the applicant has changed his name and the birth certificate has not been amended, the original Deed Poll will be required, legalised by the FCO with the Apostille and translated into Spanish. This document will be retained by agentine authorities.

Applicants not married in the UK must have the certificate issued in their country of origin and legalised by the competent authorities with the Apostille or by the Argentine Consulate in that country. This document must be submitted with its translation into Spanish and will be retained for processing by argentine authorities and not given back to the applicant.
NOTE: If the marriage took place in Argentina, there is no need for it to be legalised

Original or certified copy of Final Decree (if applicable) legalised by the FCO with the Apostille. Applicants not divorced in the UK must have the certificate issued in the country of origin and legalised by the competent authorities with the Apostille or by the Argentine Consulate in that country. This document must be submitted with its translation into Spanish and will be retained for processing by argentine authorities and not given back to the applicant.

Certificate of Criminal Records legalised by the FCO with the Apostille (for applicants 16 years and over who have lived in a country other than the UK during the last five years, for longer than three months; one certificate per country). The document must be legalised by local Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the Apostille, or by the Argentine Consulate in the jurisdiction of the issuing country. The certificate must be submitted with its translation into Spanish, will be retained for processing by argentine authorities and not given back to the applicant. It's not necessary to legalise the translation.

An affidavit provided on the day of the appointment, to be signed at the Consulate General, stating that the applicant has no international criminal records (for applicants 16 years old and over).

Professional references: letter/s issued by any media organization where you have contributed. Signatures or authenticity have to be certified by a notary public or solicitor and notary public/solicitor's signature by the Foreign Office with the Apostille. Must be accompanied by translation into Spanish (all translations can be done by any professional and don't require legalisation).

Once in Argentina, you have to contact the Press Department (Dirección de Prensa) of the Ministry of Foreign Relations (Cancilleria) and request to be accredited as a foreign correspondent.
